Re: Bringing it all together

Now that is really nice. I can't let my other half see this as it would definitely invoke the SHMBO syndrome for me and I'd have a hard task as my skills are nowhere near what you have displayed. Well done.

Re: power pro in for repair building backup headstock

Fred,
Oh my 2 months. I'M glad I invested in the backup now. I was told I should get a call within 10 days with whether or not there would be any charges. As new as it is there had better not be any charges.

Re: power pro in for repair building backup headstock

woohoo, Got the goldie headstock running today. Did a horiontal boar and ran the planner. Both work as it should have. The sound is so familiar to me not being the power pro. Next I have to cut down some paneling to finish the front porch. It is nice to have the backup. And now it won't matter how l...

Hope to be operational tonight with the fall back headstock. Who knows I may opt to keep using the mechanical headstock instead of the power ...

No word on progress and when I called Brian he said he would check and call me back. Well, I want to get back to work so I got a goldie headstock off the web and am using my o...

Re: Power pro problems and no response from SS

I had to send my power supply and display in for repair last week. Is this normal that there is no communication generated from Shopsmith on any progress on the repairs?

Re: Sanding Belts

FYI you can get the belts from Lowes and if your a veteran you can get 10% off their price. Not sure which is cheaper but for me it is convenient.

Re: No power to MarkV w PP Upgrade

What ever happened here anything? Mine just died and have taken it apart and checked continuity from power cord though power switch all good. Contacting Shopsmith today. I hope I get better attention although mine was the do it yourself kit but it has been working for for the last three months.
