I picked up a assortment of set screws for the SS of different length on ebay,

This weekend coming up is labor day ,, there are a lot of swap meets going on , a great time to get in on new and old wood working tools and every thing else.

The fair grounds in Lima , Swapper days at Johns town , and all the sales in between, this year is expected to be one of the best .

I think my Dad still has the old dowel maker my great grand dad .

The show barn builders is a great show ,,it amazes me those buildings can still be torn down and moved and put back original.

They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer .

I was out to the Amish mill today picked up some nice cherry and a piece of beech .

Get the next bigger allen and tap it into the set screw , it might work, you may need to use a metric set. good luck.

I dont know what smell is better though,, walnut or cherry .

What if the salesman has a small foot? or the boss makes ya wear small shoes when selling,,,,, by the foot

They been selling foot long conies at the dairy queen for years that don't measure up lol.

It could only happen in Chicago.

I went with beech , we will see how well it holds up
