so can you use bench dogs on the table to hold down the stock?

Or will the table be too thin?

That would work!!

My dream shop would be a 40 x 60 heated cooled pole barn with a full size up stairs wired for 220 and run on solar power complete with a log mover and a saw mill in the middle of a hard wood forest :}

My favorite way is the wifes home made wheat bread , 2 slices of Wisconsin cheddar and a slice of pepper jack cooked in a lightly coated with bacon grease,, cast iron skillet over the wood stove .

Thanks every one , to me it was just a enjoyable way to pass a afternoon, after being laid up for so long it was as much mental therapy as physical. with any luck his grand son will be able to use the same rifle as their fathers great uncle. I would take the table off and check it again on a flat surface , be sure you have all washers if any are required installed correctly under the table.

warped tables are not good !

I don't have the SS bit set , my'n is a china brand , had to have a bushing made at the machine shop , cant help ya on that part , however the SS tenon jig is a asset to have .
