Finley completed the retriever walking stick. With an antique brass collar and on a 48 “walnut staff.

Well done. Bet your grandson will enjoy it for many years.

Small shop small bench. But works wellfor most of my work which are smaller projects most of the time. And to the right I have my Shop Smith wall.

Bear & eagle topper carved from butternut on a piece Manzanita wood and I added a battery candle. The two walking stick toppers on the bench both carved in basswood, still works in progress.

Eye and nose done with a combination of acrylic paint and the use of a wood burner. Tung oil on the basswood gave it the golden retriever coloring.
