Re: facebook rejections
I've been able to solve that problem by never clicking on anything related to Facebook. While that won't be the solution for everybody, it makes my life much nicer.

Re: SC Johnson Paste Wax
I'm still using my can of Trewax I bought 30 years ago and at the rate I use it, it will outlast me too so I don't have to worry about finding another can of any brand.

Re: SC Johnson Paste Wax
I have stored mine in various places. The first 10 years or so I had it, I kept it in my unheated garage. The garage temp varied between 100 degrees in Summer to 0 degrees in Winter. The last 20 years it has been in my basement workshop with almost no temperature change. The wax has never separated ...

Re: SC Johnson Paste Wax
Decades ago I bought a can of wax from Shopsmith. At that time they supplied me with Trewax brand. There is no reason to worry about not having Johnson's brand. The Trewax is equal to Johnson's or Shopsmith wouldn't have supplied it at one time. I've used it for at least 30 years with great results....

Re: Voltage Question - NOT Shopsmith
You might want to first determine what kind of battery is in the GPS. Some use lithium batteries and others could use lead acid or other types of batteries. Lithium batteries can be touchy about the type of charger they want. (Yes, lithium ion batteries like to blow up if charged improperly.)

Re: ID help, pen blank?
If these are blanks you purchased yourself at some time in the past, try to remember what places you might have purchased them. Then, look at those companies' websites and search for that number. It might lead you to the information you want.

Re: jointer cutter guard
The guard will have spring tension if you prewind it a bit before putting it on the deck. Maybe your spring is broken or missing, or maybe it just needs to be prewound a turn or so. It lifts right off the deck. Check it out.

Re: Raising saw table to clear blade before sliding table
I've always just eyeballed it. Crank until the blade disappears from sight and I'm clear. Same when moving the table back. I just eyeball it.
