Yep they can be. IF they are wide enough. The jointer knives I have are nicked-up and look like the originals. How wide is "wide enough?" Has anyone seen this on youtube? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg-COHKZvc4&NR=1 Are there other ways to sharpen jointer / planer knives? .

Ok.... spare time found last weekend. The intermittent start-up problems did not go away. Looked online for a while and found this adjustable potential relay. It's solid state and is advertized to have a pick-up voltage range between 110 - 270VAC. I didn't get the chance to wire up the new part unti...

Oh, I also found this neat little fitting that maybe useful. The bummer is I'm using up left-over 3/4" EMT conduit. I can only find it in 1/2" - 82 cents at Lowe's.

Non Metallic Flex to EMT Comb Coupler, 1/2", Zinc die cast. Use...

Hey thanks for the feedback. The reason I asked the question is because at first glance it looked like the sump pump electric outlet in the basement is wired this way. But after looking closer there is an "Insulated EMT Bushing" on top of the conduit - not an "Anti-short bushing"...

Hello all. I picked up a mark VII a few months ago. Little did I know what I was getting into. It worked at the previous Owners house. I tried to use it at home and it would hum and not turn. So I took the headstock off. and took it appart. The belt was stuck in the shelve. So I took the belt off a...

I was just planning to use wood... But, your post now has me thinking of the white vinyl guttering I already have on hand in one of the hay lofts. It should work great and look good too. Here is the stuff that came with the house. I had to remove the pa...
