Re: Arbors

Nipper, I have two Sawsmith arbors I could get rid of, if you are still looking for some. Both are 1 1/2".

Re: it isnt often that we have a chance to say thank you

They first blamed it on the holes in the Ozone. Those level have dropped to 1/3 of what they were thanks to man. Now that that is clearing up they still preaching the same thing. Until they can prove what is causing this "climate change" they are wasting our time. Mother nature is unpredic...

In a dilemna

I just got a great buy on a hybrid table saw that I pick up on Saturday. Now I have to choose between keeping the 500 or the 510 because I don't have room for all three. I love the 510 and would love to keep it but the old greenie was given to me by my father-in-law who bought it new. The wife will ...

Re: Restoration Project

Spooner, Both Russ and MickyD did an outstanding job with their restorations. Both are beautiful examples of what I wish my greenie looked like. Since you have a little while to prepare, there are probably a couple of months of reading on this site alone. There are some great guys on here who are am...

Re: Table insert issue

I have one that doesn't sit flush because I lost my train of thought and let it come down on the saw blade and it bowed it in the center. I had just cleaned my carriage assembly and didn't have a firm grasp on the wheel. It's amazing how quick the table can come down after a good waxing and polishin...

Re: Mark V Performance Issues

One thing that may be confusing is the sound that is made at the different RPM's. If one didn't know better they would assume the noise change from high RPM to low RPM is the motor changing speeds, when it is the other innards of the machine that are making most of the noise. With no belts attached,...

Re: Aligning 510 main table

When I bought my 510 it had been sitting for a while and most of the bolts and set screws were hard to break free. The one that gave me the most trouble was one of the two for the table insert. I ended up pulling the table off the carriage and putting it on the workbench so I could get better access...

Todays Lesson II

I find it rather odd that the only post on the forum that keeps getting constantly bombarded with the spammers is the "Todays Lesson" post. Is there some link in the post that is attracting these leeches specifically to that post? Can the moderators just delete the post and the spam will g...

Re: Today's Lesson (about the forum)

Is the registration approval automatic or does a real person have to authorize access to the forum? Seems to me if someone looked at this request it would be denied immediately. I don't think most of the 750 people are just viewing the forum. once had 1/3 of that prior to the last two weeks and usua...

Re: Today's Lesson (about the forum)

Another odd thing I noted is the number of people on this forum at any one time. It appears we had over 750 users browsing the forum yesterday just after 5:00 in the afternoon. We are breaking records with viewership everyday.
