A Couple of 'sliding pins' on the inside face of the back side of the drawers that would extend out beyond sides to 'catch' on the inside face of the 'legs'. They need to be retractable from the inside of the drawer for removal/insertion of the drawer. Just a brain storm.:rolleyes:

I am in the market for a stackable pair of feather boards for the Shopsmith table. I know the slot in my Mk V is not the standard 3/4". I saw a nice stack pair of featherboards in the Lee Valley catelogue for $29.95. They come w/ 3/4 in bars and 5/8 in bars. Does anyone here know if these bars...

I was just given a Mark V. Had one several years ago, but this one is in better shape. Does need a new belt. Had several attachements, some pretty rusty. OKAY. How wide do you think they should be? Are they the correct diameter? Mark 5/V-500 = 3/8" wide(distance from headstock to carriage when pushed against each other). Greenies and EARLY Goldies(????) did not use them. ???? Alec! Your early Goldie got a ring, OR a screw stop like a Greenie???...
