Re: Garage Doors

Very nice! Looks like a lot of work. Your experience with your previous door build makes you wonder how they made the original doors that lasted so long.

Re: My new T-shirt

It’s a small hanging wall cabinet (approx 11” x 24”), with a door that has a book-matched panel and a glass window above. Two of the coolest machines they have is a large bandsaw and huge planer they got from an old Arizona Class battleship when it was decommissioned. The planer takes 12 minutes to ...

Re: 75th Anniversary of Shopsmith This Year - How Will We Celebrate?

I would love to attend an in person celebration, but living in San Diego it would be a long drive and, mirroring Ed’s concern, I’m not ready to plan for any air travel. Re: My new T-shirt

Surprisingly, so far I have not encountered such a negative attitude. I’m taking a Fundamentals of Woodworking class, which everybody has to take before they let you take any of the other classes, and which I need anyway. So the other students are mostly new to woodworking and don’t have much space ...

Re: No more videos from me

FYI, Chairman of the Board is a subscription level on Sott’s channel, so it only means that Chad pays more than $2.99 per month to have the opportunity to be more involved with videos that Scott does for the community. I still don’t see any profit motive; it appears more like service to our communit...

Re: No more videos from me

+1 Dusty’s post, also. I’m certainly not a “Village Elder”, but more likely someone who is the intended audience of these videos. As I’m not retired, I don’t have the time to bounce around the Internet looking for and accessing all the valuable videos available, and I “normally” value the discussion...
