Regarding microcrystalline wax, I haven't bought Renaissance wax so far, but I got a low-odor microcrystalline product from the pipe enthusiasts people, call Paragon wax. I'm impressed. I warmly remember in circa 2006 looking at an older Shopsmith Forum, where reible had built a custom set of under-SS red cabinets. That kind of skill and devotion was what pulled me into the Shopsmith family in early 2007.

I very much like to cut rough bevels with the bandsaw, and then fine-tune with the disk sander. Disk sanding can be done at very light touches and in a non-hurried way.
