Re: Scott's My Growth Rings youtube channel & website
They certainly could have accessed them, but it wasn't nearly as easy to do as it is today. They sure could have done a better job if they had, so thankfully they didn't, or as you say, didn't understand them. Scott

Re: Causes of bandsaw blade 'wandering'?
The wandering you are describing is what Shopsmith and most of us call “drift”. Despite what a lot of videos will tell you, the Shopsmith bandsaw is going to drift, so the secret is to adjust the fence to accommodate the drift. I use a method that is similar to the one Doug Reid shares in this video...

Re: Scott's My Growth Rings youtube channel & website
MUCH! Thanks, and that should be the model for others. I have to fight my urge to make my video titles "punny" or clever, knowing full well that no one will ever discover it if they aren't subscribed. Now, the text on the thumbnail is another story...

Re: What is this?
I had a bench top table saw that came with a four tooth 10” carbide tipped blade. It was silly but that blade ripped like mad!

Re: YouTube Videos featuring Shopsmiths
Your Shopsmith multi-purpose tool came with a couple stop collars (tube collars) that can be used for far more than what you may know. In this video, I run you through the handiest non-standard uses I have for them in my shop. There's nothing groundbreaking here, but if it's new to you, this chould ...

Re: YouTube Videos featuring Shopsmiths
Just to follow-up on the EZtension gauge video, I continue to work with the manufacturer and they are sending me a new setting tool that should be calibrated for use with the Shopsmith bandsaw. I’ll be sure to report back. Scott
