Serial number database of non-SPT Magna-Line tools?

As if my collection of Model 10s, Mark 5s, Mark 2, and Sawsmiths (yes, plural) were not enough, now I appear to be adding Magna-Line tools to the stable… Picked up a really cool and very good condition standalone Magna 9-inch Table Saw this week, and looking forward to that restoration project this ...

NIB Sawsmith RAS Accessories - Part 3 So, I've previously shown the Add-A-Tool adapter for the Sawsmith , and I've shown the tool rest that sits in the adapter for those brave enough to attempt turning on this machine. Now for those who would want to use the Add-A-Tool adapter for the somewhat more...

Re: Gallery of Restorations

Nice base cabinet for being scrap wood and I like the knob. The Model 10 itself looks great. Even though I am a bit of a traditionist when it comes to paint color the silver on the Belt Cover and Speed Changer are a nice contrast. I appreciate the compliments, Russ! This was definitely one of those...

Re: Gallery of Restorations

Well Done!!!! Silver paint on the belt cover and speed reducer? Thanks so much! I find myself enjoying the restoration process as much as the woodworking at this point. It’s actually hammered silver on the belt cover and speed changer. I was looking for a bit of contrast to the original charcoal gr...

I actually have a couple of modern equivalent sets of these, so plenty of options for scavenged parts! Thank you just the same for your kind offer…

Re: Share your Magna memorabilia!

Early MAGNA-LINE Pulley Guard Picked this up off eBay recently. I have an original MAGNA-LINE dual stand that I'm trying to completely restore and mount SPTs, so was thrilled to find a second one of these to keep the restoration to all correct vintage parts. And while it's missing some mounting har...

Re: The return of Hammered Verde Green!!

I was just told by Rustoleum that their hammered green paint was discontinued and was not going to be produced anymore. What a shame... I was under the impression that when I purchased more last year, that it was back in production. I guess I'm fortunate that I stocked up when I had the chance. I h...

Set screws are actually “normal” size - this thing is just so literally NIB that the set screws were never inserted beyond a quick by-hand twist at the factory!
