Shopsmith Jigsaw

An old Shopsmith Jigsaw (made for the 10E/10ER) is for sale close to me. The question is can it be modified to work on my Mk5 greenie? It is currently mounted in a home made table/stand with a 1/2 hp motor but I am not sure I want to take up that much real estate in a small sh...

An alternate method to make the hand holds would be to cut a short slot with a dado blade.

In the photo linked to below the second super from the top in the front row center hive has that type of handle

I wet sanded my bench and way tubes using Scotch Brite dampened with Evaporust. It worked well for me and used very little of the Evaporust.

What a great idea, thanks for posting it.

Let me preface this by saying that I am working on rebuilding my first Mk 5 and have only seen photos of Mk VII's. The head stock casings look similar but different somehow and the control sheave looks similar also. So this is probably a sill question, but here goes anyway. Has anyone tried to adapt...

Here is a link to the Gulf Stream FAQ page http://www.gulfstreamcoach.com/faqs.htm
It has links to the five different slideout hardware manufacturers that they use.
If you can determine which was used in your RV you should be able to down load a manual from the manufacturers site.
Hope this helps.
