Bruce,
I'll take it, just don't throw it away. Also would like to set up a time for you to come over to see 10E S/N 1077. I know with the holidays upon us it can be tough to find extra time but maybe after this week.

Re: Original 10ER Sales Receipt
Bruce, I was not able to repair it but was lucky enough to find that part for sale and replaced it. It sits in a box with a broken base piece that again I was lucky enough to replace when I bought a 10ER with a speed changer that had a broken ear that had been repaired but also had a replacement bas...

Re: New to Me Model 10E Serial Number 1077
Finished at last and just in time for her 71st Anniversary. 71 years ago tomorrow this Model 10E was shipped with 249 other 10E's to the Montgomery Ward stores on the west coast. Thank you Everett for getting us the correct date from your research. The alignments are done along with a final going ov...

Re: serial numbers
Although it might be nice to have available, I do not want to take on a list of all known Model 10's at this time. As I said before it would be a large task to handle. It may be why Skip stopped adding to his list that Everett modified and posted on his google drive. That list has around 470 machine...

Re: Original 10ER Sales Receipt
Someone machined a whole new pulley arm besides "welding" the "dog ear" back on the base. It makes me wonder what the broken pulley arm looked like. The "dog ear" breaking off and the base broken in half are the most common damage I have seen on the speed changer. The d...

Re: serial numbers
Keeping a list of all known Model 10's would be an enormous task but I would be willing to maintain list of Model 10E's and 10ER's with known purchase dates such as a sales receipt. An update could be posted here from time to time as a PDF when new information is added. That would allow others to &q...

Re: serial numbers
marcp1956 wrote I found a copy of Skips data, but not from his site. Would you please post a link to his data. My 10ER serial number is R-63817. Looking at Skip's old chart I'm concluding a manufacture date late '52 and made in San Francisco, am I correct? That should be pretty close. Sorry I did no...

Re: New to me ....
Without better pictures it is hard to say what the extra pulley is for. It may be simply stored on that extra arm and used on the motor shaft for extra speeds. It may go in the middle somewhere to adjust the speeds. It does look like a 2",3", 4", 5" step pulley that could be used...
