Looking For Dinner

We had a visitor at the bird feeder today looking for dinner. The feeder is about 10' to the right. A little out of focus because they were taken through the sliding door.

Re: Utah Winter Sunsets

Not a sunset but a late winter storm. The high this morning was 55°. It is now (5PM) 31°. The wind was ferocious as the cold front approached. There was a gust of 55MPH here at the house and the 10 minute average was 30MPH most of the morning. Now the anemometer is frozen because it started out as r...

I can think of at least 3 others in the last few months. No I don't have a photographic memory so don't ask for user names.

Re: Im happy I finally signed up

An unrelated link added at some point. We have seen more than one first poster with exactly the same subject and very close to the same text in the post. Probably a BOT. These need to be watched for SPAM.

Do you really think this is a legitimate first post???

Re: Mark VII Idler Shaft Damage

Before you pull your hair out, check with Motion Industries. If nothing else take the bearing in to them so they can measure it and come up with an equivalent. Many (most) bearings are speced in metric even in the US.

Re: Festool TS 55 won't start

I assume you checked the continuity of the power cord. The next thing I would check is the switch if you can get to it. Haven't checked either. Don't have a continuity tester. Without an Ohm meter I don't know how you would determine what is wrong. A cheap Volt/Ohm meter is under $10 most places.

Re: Floating Glass Shelves

You could us standard floating shelf brackets for wood shelves. Attach a strip of wood just large (thick/wide) enough to mount the bracket and put a groove in the front face to accommodate the glass and epoxy the glass in the groove.
