Hi,

I would guess it's the following:
2 x no. 126335 carriage bolt, 1/2-20 x 1-1/2
2 x no. 503782 knob.

These are what come with the hardwood miter gage extension kit. They also are included with new Mark V's for the project of making your own extension.

Enjoy,

I like your shop! Also I like how "this unit goes with seller, not part of house sale"... I've heard folks saying house-buyers are attracted to a nice work areas or benches sometimes.

Thanks for the kind words, folks . .. Yes, the basement was carpeted already when we got the house. So I do a LOT of vacuuming. But the DC3300 is fully up to the task. Incidentally, the neighborhood-association bills are > $500 per year. So I lurk trash-piles all the time to get some payback !!! Now...

Woodworking, with Sanford and Son

Hello, We recently had to bite the bullet on a new (big) TV. I held back on buying a stand, figuring I could make one eventually. Exactly one week later, as I trolled the neighborhood trash, I found a 49"x29" piece of 3/4" plywood, complete with flawless black-laminate top, and a &quo...

Hi kaba,

I'm curious -- you got an old Bandsaw too, correct? What colors will you do for that?

A vanished video on "Jointer Envy"

Hi All,

When I was at the Owners Weekend in July I saw a slick extended-outfeed jig on Nick's 4" jointer.

It turns out there was a Shopsmith Video on it that I must have missed.... check it out:

Don't Laugh....

Hi, I had noticed my old used 500-tool-rest was worn/ground way thinner than my newer 510-tool-rest. (I was using the 500 to turn a pen with my visiting niece tonight; the 500 carriage geometry can get the 8"-tool-rest closer to a pen mandrel than the wider-stance 510 carriage normally can. But...
