Here is a Mark VII cam from a unit I bought for parts a few years ago. The bearing had overheated and melted the cam in several spots. I filled the voids with hot glue to use it as a pattern.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
I picked up the Shopsmith Pro planer on Sunday afternoon. Really dull knives and it is going to need some motor mount tightening. I was lucky I found an extra knife setting gauge because it didn't come with one. I still have to clean the rest of the planer. The owner gave me a decent deal. He still ...

Re: lathe duplicator
Found a Rand lathe duplicator on CL last week. The ebay link doesn't work any longer so here is one as purchased used. Had to replace a spring, repair the crank handle, and replace a couple of snap rings. No manual included and possibly missing template brackets. Spindle holders are attached to the ...

Re: Mark VII on loan
I tried to find the post where I think someone mentioned using stick lubricant on the rip fence locks. I by chance got a box of junk from a tractor repair shop that had a stick in it. I finally found it again a couple weeks ago and tried on my Mark 7 fence. I was amazed at how well it worked. It mig...

Re: Mark VII Idler Shaft moves in Idler Shaft Sheave
Replacing the clip on the idler shaft turned out to be a much easier job than I anticipated. After loosening the belts, removing the retaining screw, and the nut and washer from the idler shaft I was able to lift the bearing block out exposing the shaft. $matches[2] Several years ago I picked up a b...

The setscrew only secures the bearing SPACER.
I was sure you would have the solution. I’ll try to get it done soon. Thanks Roger

Mark VII Idler Shaft moves in Idler Shaft Sheave
Mark VII Idler Shaft Issue.PNG I am having a problem with my Mark VII idler shaft moving in and out of the idler shaft sheave. The idler sheave on the Mark 5/V has a retaining clip that holds the sheave on the shaft. This Mark VII does not. The set screw holding the bearings inside the idler shaft ...

Re: Lathe Duplicator
I googled inside out Christmas tree ornament for ideas, put a piece of wood on the lathe and tried a couple turnings until I found a design pleasing to my eye.

Thanks Algale, I kind of like the cedar best.
Thanks, Buckeye.
