Re: microsoft surface pro 4, anyone have one?
I have a Surface Pro 4 and love it (full disclosure, I am a MSFT FTE). The sketching works pretty well in onenote. There is a cool app called Plumbago (https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9nblggh5gk42) which is excellent for sketching and such. I previously had a Surface Pro 1 (wasn't a fan...too h...

Re: New Saw
Cabinetmaker Does the overhead dust collection system work as Saw Stop says it does? Does it really collect 99% of the dust? Our woodworking club is considering getting that add on. Bill V Yes it does. Basically dust free as long as you are cutting a board with the curf at least 1/2" from the ...

Re: Tricked-out overarm pin router
$300. Probably could have pushed the price down some but an older guy, health problems, getting rid of his tools and hated to go there. Good shape and had all the parts and even threw in a PC router, damaged cord, but that can be fixed. By the way, have the manual. Looks like model 555352. With too...

Re: Tricked-out overarm pin router
Oops – I did it. Now own the Overhead Routing System by Shopsmith. Vintage 9-30-88, looks awfully close to Ed's pictures. Made the mistake of going over to see it. No rust which is something in this country. Looked in good shape and very little use that I could see. Even came with a router and even...

Re: What are these called?
I am looking for a source of metal accent items that can be attached to cutting boards or bowls for accent or perhaps unique handles. What I see in commercial products, these items have shapes of lobster, shrimp, cattle horns, etc--made out of metal like pewter. I have attached a picture of an exam...

Re: repairs in Seattle Area
The head was taken apart and never reassembled. The screws were lost and it needs a new electrical cord. I don't know if it needs anything else. Would you be able to get it back into running condition? Should be able to. Really the biggest issue is how much is still there, and what needs to be repl...
