Table extension legs - replacing the rubber feet?

Anyone replace the feet on their 510/520 table extension legs? One of mine was missing when I got it. It looks like it should be able to accept the feet from some crutches...which should also increase grip and stability. Someone done this? If so, are there any places that would sell this type of thi...

510 upgrade - 520, or JoinTech or other?

With a little fancy footwork I ended up selling my 1979 Mark V Model 500 and got a newer 510 unit. Is it possible to upgrade the switch on an older Mark V to the newer style? Alternatively, has anyone upgraded their switch to something with a larger "Off" pad? I saw the thread on a remote switch, which sounds like an interesting option.

Thanks

Perhaps this is a thread hi-jack if you will, but what about changing the table top for one from another table saw, but keeping it on the rest of the shopsmith mechanics. It seems like one of the disadvantages of the shopsmith has been the non-standard size of the t-tracks in the table surface, and ...

I recommend that any new or already Shopsmith owner who does not have these 25 maintenance procedures to copy them to their computer and to a back-up disk. You never know when this site may be deleted, have a virus or shut down. Referencing a step in a specific procedures where you are having a pro...

I have seen that the recommended bearing for a single bearing quill is a 202KDD5 (C1 rating) from http://www.ebatmus.com . That seems like a much better choice in terms of cost rather than buying the new quill. However, while the pictures in this thread are great, I haven't seen any great quill disa...

Headstock Lubrication - '79 Mark V

Picked up a used shopsmith. I watched all the sawdust session videos and went through the process of cleaning everything. I just want to double check to make sure that I am doing the necessary lubrication before I start to use it. Quill assembly - 30w Motor oil on the shaft and wax on the teeth Moto...
