Re: Looking for suggestion
Due to some medical conditions I’m looking to get a battery powered screw gun that is light weight but still a good tool. I am no longer able to hold my two current ones up when working shoulder high and higher for any amount of time. This one seems to get good reviews. https://www.northerntool.com...

Re: Shorty Drill Press not perpendicular to floor, any ideas?
So far I only know of ONE that does not go past 90° when raised. Angle cubes may have contributed to the confusion here, hence the spirit level request. They had consistent indications. Unless I'm misinterpreting his comment, I think John has also indicated his standalone DP (with reversed headstoc...

Re: Shorty Drill Press not perpendicular to floor, any ideas?
I have no idea since my DP was never a full SS. The head stock and bench castings came from my full size 510 bought new in 1994.Then upgraded to a 520 and finally a full up MK 7. The legs, carriage, 520 table and way tubes came from eBay. The way tubes are thick wall 10ER tubes. So out of curiosity...

Re: Shorty Drill Press not perpendicular to floor, any ideas?
The reason for reversing the table and head stock is because of that short of a foot print. If you didn't the thing would fall over on it's own. With everything reversed all the weight is directly over the bench. It is as solid as a rock. John, On your setup, did reversing the headstock/table cause...
