Re: Hans Goldschmidt's file tidbits
Another gem from the 1951 era that came from a Sunday newspaper comic strip in the San Francisco Chronicle October 21, 1951 that was part of Hans personal files. Some things change, some things do not.... I am sure Hans chuckled a bit when he clipped this piece of Shopsmith history! Everett IMAG025...

Re: Hans Goldschmidt's file tidbits
Hi Everett, You said In a previous thread about 10ER Accessories that discussed the Miter Gauge, I came across this file in Hans collection. It shows a 1954 date but we believe it was available before that. I have only seen the front page of that document until now, Thanks Everett. That Special Mit...

You can see in the ad, he has a 20 inch planer now, and this

Re: Non woodworking uses for a shopsmith
OK, my older brother just found a friend from High School. We lived in the San Jose area back then, and now live in the Phoenix area. Hasn't seen the guy in 44 years! He is in Tucson. (He makes the 3rd or 4th person I knew in Sunnyvale, to move to Arizona.) One of them was an old math teacher, from ...

Mark VII drive spur.
Was the old Mark 7's drive spur different than the Model 10 or the 5/V? I got an unrestorable MkVII, a few years ago, and it had a different looking drive spur. This one had longer spur tips on it.
