I've recently come across a website, www.eureka-business.com , that outlines a plan for making money manufacturing Adirondack chairs and other outdoor furniture using their plans and jigs. If you've not seen it, please do check it out. Has anyone out there done this? Have you made money or, at leas...

I would also agree with others that you should ask your dad what his preferences are, especially for the ribbons. He may have sentimental reasons for wanting those particular ribbons or he might like a new set that may include other ribbons that he earned but you don't have (basic training, longevit...

If you look you will find the deals.
Thanks for the suggestions, Ed.

Tim I often hear it on forums (this and others) and read it in magazine reviews you must buy multi base router packages. In fact that was the initial advice given to the person that asked the question. I'm asking why? If you analyze the package price you see the manufacture actually double the fixe...

And they are on sale until 11/25/09 for a bit less than $12 each! Nice looking units. I ordered 4 of the 3" swivel double-lock casters for a medium-height cabinet/work/assembly bench I have planned. While I won't have them on and using until probably after the first of the year, first impressi...

There is no play wiggling toward or away from the headstock, just side to side and up and down. Do you have play between the chuck and adapter? I experienced the same problem as you with my PSI chuck and adapter. Replacing the single bearing quill with double bearing helped a bit, but the biggest p...

Why use bolts. Just turn some dowels from the 2X4s at the same time you're turning the wheels. :p Cut some of those 2x4 into squares and 'turn' them into 'wheels'! You can then mount them on to $2 bolts attached to more 2x4s. Another $2 bolt through the 2x4 vertically and through the storage thingy ...

Woodcraft has a sale on heavy duty casters: http://www.woodcraft.com/Family/2001989/2001989.aspx?refcode=09IN11RL

Still not cheap, but under $15 and appear to be fairly sturdy.

Hudsonmiller, I have the same chuck and adapter and have experienced that same slop and at times vibration, especially when trying to do some hollow forms. However, I didn't notice it causing any wobble. I was finally able to get rid of the worst of the vibration by putting a thick rubber washer on ...

Hi Charles, You're holed up just a few miles from me. Are you RVing/staying at the KOA (I'm not aware of much lodging in Choctaw)? There is a decent (not great) and reasonably priced German restaurant in Choctaw, Old Germany Restaurant, 15920 SE 29th St, Choctaw, (405) 390-8647. I'd offer to host a ...
