Don't try to sell it, barter it. What ever "IT" is.

No taxable profit, no non-deductible loss. No paper trail.

This might answer your question. My question is - would it really be fair. What is in the bill that we will not understand until after it is passed ( something taught to me by a Senator from California ). Opps! Now we've gone political. Would it be fair?? Depends. If EVERYONE (including foreign tra...

Keep the chisel scary sharp. I recently assisted my daughter in making an apartment ready for renting. One task included adjusting door hardware so the latch worked on three doors. I discovered my chisel dulled very quickly and I had not taken a sharpener with me. Sharp chisels are essential. Jim A...

A couple of things. First, I have the Rockwell Sonicrafter but wish I had originally spent the money for the Fein. I found a tremendous sale on the 180 piece Sonicrafter on Amazon and when it arrived and I plugged it in (had immediate need/use and was waiting for it!) it made this horrible grinding ...

Often a corner. Plumb both directions, shim as needed and screw it to the wall. If it's above a counter then it hel...

Thankful

As I read this discourse of opinions and ideas I am pleasantly struck by the idea that "at least for the immediate future", I live in a country that allows me (an us) to speak of what we feel and how we feel without fear of immediate retribution. Not bad for such a young upstart nation! :D...

Too late for this

The way I'd reform the Presidential election system: 1) Only individuals may make political contributions (to a candidate, party, or PAC). Corporations may not. And records of every contribution must be publicly available - even those to PACs. 2) Once a candidate has a mathematical possibility of w...

Term limits - not a great outcome & thoughts for the future

Montana has term limits (I voted for them) and IMHO as someone who ran for state senate, they do not make things better. The old hands in the state legislature would take new legislators and mentor them in how to negotiate and how to craft bills. Now the "freshly minted" think they know it...
