Better Bandsaw Dust collection spot?
I was watching Doug Reid's resawing video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19KUOXatLPY&feature=channel&list=UL and at about the 3 minute mark it shows the dust collection port on the lower left position of the case. My bandsaw is old enough that it does not have a built in port so I was going ...

Same as non-sale price
I bought these about 10 days ago for 42.99 (which I thought was regular price) but had a deal to knock down the price of a minimum order so in effect got a "sale like" price and then paid for shipping. The woman taking my order (exceptional customer service!!) had said that they "migh...

I have a staple gun that uses 1/4 (10mm) x 1/4 or 5/16 staples. The only ones I can find are 10mm x 3/8 which are too long. Any one know where I can find the shorter ones. The gun is a Swingline (no longer made and they don't make the staples either). Not certain if they carry what you are looking ...

Ahhh such wisdom
[quote="JPG40504"]They do not work any other way! In addition some 5/8" arbors include a keyed washer that prevents nut loosening. All 5/8" arbors have a right hand nut on the 'outside' of the blade and flats on the back side. Arbors with a nut on the back side are lreft hsand th...

Like the newer design
As I look at the older conventional arbor design I feel more comfortable with the newer design that has the arbor wrench surfaces designed so you are using a wrench on one side of the blade rather than needing to reach around (over) the cutting edge of the blade. Though I am no engineer it seems lik...
