Re: Customer Service Woes

The reason for my long wait for Customer Service, SS was closed for a long holiday weekend. Obviously someone forgot to change the phone message. I was away from home this morning when SS called, so my wife was told I would be contacted by e-mail. I was and SS has honored the $10 shipping. I sugges...

Re: Mounting a Digital Readout

I got tired of adjusting the height of the auxiliary table, and tried attaching the DRO to a floating table instead. The DRO is very light, and the table doesn't sag at all. With the configuration pictured below, it's possible to do cuts up to about 16.5" inches. With no gap between the tables...

Re: OH NO YOU DIDN'T SHORTEN A 520

:) If 10 Way Tubes are all that rare, their market value must be be sky high. Just what are you guys who are concerned about them being altered willing to pay for a set? As little as possible! :D That said I paid about $30 for a pair. I would go that again for good condition. I have not yet 'mounted...

Depends on how you cut the tubes. I went to a metal fabrication shop and they cut them for free on their chop saw. Took about 30 seconds.

I have used it numerous times and it works very well. The trick is to get it set up properly. The instructions provided by SS work just fine. It cuts near perfect circles.

I don't know since I don't have a 10ER. Are the 10ER tubes longer? Are they the same O.D.? Is the tube a standard dimension or would larger tubes have to be designed/built? Is the demand for longer tubes great enough to warrant the additional design/manufacturing cost? Does Bill Mayo or Ruggs have ...
