Re: Great, great grandson's Christmas gift

George, Does CarveWright have the ability to save in a standard CAD format such as DXF? I'm thinking of giving this a go and before I take the time to turn it into CAD drawings I thought I'd ask. Just took a look at all the other rubber band models he has. I think I'm gonna be having some fun. Paul...

Checked your prior posts and found that you used #4 brass 3/4 flat head screws. Still curious about the rubber bands. I don't remember the sizes for the rubber bands I used. I do know that I couldn't find the exact or near sizes called for so in a couple of instances I just tied some bands together...

Re: Which CNC machine do you use want

Ben, I have had my CarveWright CNC for a couple of years and IMHO there is nothing out there, in it's price range, that can match it. Ed, the table tops and shelves are spray painted pine. I used pocket hole screws to mount them to the legs and "L" brackets for structural support.

Honey-Do completed

SHMBO has been after me to make her some small end tables for a while now and I finally got around to making them this Christmas. The tops are 15" discs and the bottoms are 13" discs. The carvings on the legs were done with my cnc machine.
