I recently needed to repair a broken round tenon on a chair rung. I decided to do this by cutting the broken tenon off square with the rung, drilling a hole in the end and gluing a piece of dowel in the hole to be the new tenon. Just cleaned and oiled my headstock as part of spring cleaning. Also waxed the way tubes. The speed dial was hard to turn, so took it apart and cleaned it for the first time. My MarkV sits out on my carport all year long. Temperatures often drop below the 50F mark during the winter. I don't use the machine when the outside temperature is below 50F. If it were my business, after 5 minutes the customer would be given the option of leaving a voice mail message or staying on hold.
