Re: Used Power Pro Headstock

My 2nd owner DIY PowerPro suffered a power supply/control board failure in the depths of the pandemic.

This took about 6 months to finally get sorted and back to me.

The original Powerpro upgrade took place in 2013 and prior to me purchasing it-went back to the factory for factory tuneup in 2018.

Re: my bad jointer technique?

I'm curious if others have used the standard fence and the extension fence Nick shows in this video. I've never really liked the little standard fence on mine, it feels like when you get near the end of the fence I am able to "bend" the fence away from the table surface slightly. Does the ...

How to remove hardened epoxy

Alright- I'm doing this for a lady in my extended family, nothing I would choose to do on my own :) I'm making a walnut butterfly with some inset wooden bits from my coaster projects. Having rough gouged out the spaces for the insets and gluing them in, I was left with some gaps around the edges. I ...

Re: Newbie, looking for a little info

I don't want to dissuade you from woodworking-its a lot of fun and a great get away from modern life . However, with your descriptions of going blank while hands are still moving scares me to think about what might happen if you have an episode like that while your pushing wood past a blade. Theres ...

Re: Resawing - cut results - one face smooth, the other face rought

I dinged a couple of teeth on a bandsaw blade after a guide bearing had locked up and I had adjusted to closely :) This made for a very rough cut , but it also made it near impossible to get a straight cut for resaw on the bandsaw. Its funny to think about this problem from the other side-as we all ...

Re: V groove on tablesaw

Re: V groove on tablesaw

I would probably try to use a cross cut sled with a couple of 45 degree blocks in it to support the stock.

Re: ISOtunes LITE

I've been looking at something like this for awhile Reible. Hadn't come to any conclusion yet. I see there is an ISO lite and an ISO Pro, but the only difference is see is the DB rating (26 vs 27) and the price. That last DB is an expensive one :) The thing that stops me is the bluetooth enabled par...

Re: Table saw alignment fixture (Rockler)

I would have tried to rotate the blue plastic piece by 90 degrees. It may introduce a little but of error in being perpendicular to the
blade, but it would be small I think.
