Thanks! The Thuma bed was partly inspiration to build this. But it's actually the "Staked Bed" from The Anarchist's Design Book by Christopher Schwarz. Since it's a queen size, I did as he suggests in the text and added a third batten down the middle.

I'm somewhat new to Shopsmiths myself but I'm unaware of a DR35 model. Could it perhaps be 10ER? If you post a picture we should be able to identify it immediately

And to add: all these "I'm glad I finally registered" posts wouldn't qualify either but they're so suspicious that in my mind they can only exist to be the foundation of future spam

The original definition of spam was "unsolicited commercial email". That definition has been broadened of course to include things other than email. But to me, to be spam it still has to be 1. Unsolicited, and 2. Commercial or commercial-adjacent. So SEO hacking (link spam) and for example...

That's my point as well -- did they think the were piggy-backing on a well-known brand (while in reality it's an almost totally unknown brand)
