Re: Pleated Cartridge Dust Filter vs. Bag Filters

Thanks for the input Roy,
I'm all hearing protection up when I'm using my stuff any way so I doubt if the dust collector will any worse. Hopefully the harbor ships will soon be able to unload so I can test it.

Thanks for the encouragement RF Guy, I'll send a report if I ever get it home.

Re: Pleated Cartridge Dust Filter vs. Bag Filters

Thanks for sharing this RF Guy.
It'll give me other options if no dust collector becomes available.

Re: Pleated Cartridge Dust Filter vs. Bag Filters

"Note, this filter is designed to be used with Cyclone and Hybrid systems only. For Single-Stage dust collecters please choose one of the 35-series filters." Maybe Stumpy should have read the filter specs on the website. Now he'll just have to convert it with a cyclone for his next video. ...

Re: Pleated Cartridge Dust Filter vs. Bag Filters

Hmmm. I never saw that particular video. Your post scared me because I bought one. I watched this one and he listed the specific one out of the 35 series that he used with his HP dust collector. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oosMqnORR6k That video convinced me to try the HP dust collector. I...

Re: Harbor Freight Dust Collector?

Scott's comparison was on separators not collectors. Stumpy Nubs did a video on improving the HF dust collector. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru0owrbfoLo&t=21s And a great way to empty the bag. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oosMqnORR6k&t=197s I'm wanting to put a dust collector in my ga...

Re: Finished rebuild

Wow! Great job.
Now I think I need to run some routine maintenance, then wax and buff my equipment until it looks almost as new as yours.

Re: Laundry cart

Good functional project. You could probably just paint the prototype and sell it also. I would buy it at a yard sale.

CHECK THE SWITCH.
Is that your attempt to "rectify" the thread? :D (someone had to say it)

Ed in Tampa,
I'm assuming you thought I was implying the tables were smaller and not just the 510 fence?
