JPG- Shape is exactly right! Caskets are rectangular while coffins get wider from the head down to the chest and then taper down to the feet area. Found about the difference when the Lincoln Museum (closed in 2008) had a special exhibit on Victorian Age funerals. BPR FWIW I looked it up in Wickip a...

I remember seeing caskets on display at the Indiana State Fair two years ago. Also, you can order the hardware from Rockler. Haven't checked the Woodcraft catalog to see if similar items are available. While we're on the subject, do you know the difference between a coffin and a casket? I do!:) BPR...

An acquaintance of mine used to work for a canned food company(which shall remain unidentified) informed me that Wally/China/world/mart was only interested that the label show who canned the product. They were not interested in the quality or if it was as good as the producer's normal product. After...

I do not believe there was any overlap of Greenie/Goldies/gray smooth production(Mark 5's). These were the pre ss inc models through 1967(?). It is unclear to me what the ss inc. Mark V were texture wise from 1972 to 1984. IIUC the two bearing quill was introduced in Oct. of 1984 and the gray rough ...

That's part of cycling. Tubes are porous. Filling them with nitrogen (Costco) improves but doesn't eliminate the lose. I check my 120PSI road bike tires prior to every ride. When I commute to work, that means AM before leaving home and PM before leaving work. I end out having to top off every coupl...
