Re: Glue-joining of Cutoff Pieces for Lumber Recovery

I am not sure what you are planning to build but if gluing up a panel, then staggering the joints may also help. Check out how this youtuber builds a panel for his projects starting just after a minute into the video. Not sure how much strength the panels have but he builds some beautiful pieces tha...

Re: WHERE Y'ALL AT???

I think it is that everyone is busy. Either winterizing or in the shop getting presents finished up.

Re: Shopsmith purchasing advice

Welcome to the Forum. At the beginning of the Maintenance and Repair section are some sticky notes that hold a lot of information for a new owner. In the sticky post titled "Shopsmith Large Format Drawings, Illustrations and More" by EverettDavis there is a link titled "My Google Driv...

Re: Scrollsawing - need your opinions

I looked for a good scroll saw a couple of years ago. I found reviews of most scroll saws available on YouTube and on Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts website. I found the reviews by SDGood are some of the better ones as he does a lot of scroll saw work. I believe the top brand currently is Pegas b...

Re: Baking center

I was considering a shelf above the mixer but it would have to be a partial to keep it out of the way of the mixer and lift mechanism. I did mount a power strip on the back in that area for the mixer and two other power strips with lights I will mount under the upper shelves. I am still on consideri...

1, 2, 3 & 6 all look like they may be spacers from a universal arbor or a dado arbor.

Re: Baking center

I have some of the attachments or at least the ones that I think I will use. Some of them, I just do not see a need for or already have a stand alone version of. I am still trying to figure out if it would be easier to put the attachments on a shelf in the base unit or above the worktop on the upper...

Re: Baking center

When I was looking at getting the appliance lift, I saw all kind of pictures of just a solid shelf used to hold the mixer. I could not figure out how they could use any of the attachments without moving the mixer. The pull out shelf really comes in handy when using the attachments. I believe the fru...

Re: Baking center

Since I was setting up to do more grape juice, I figured I would take a picture of the appliance lift and board in use. Just a few more grapes, apples and pears to put up then I can get back to woodworking.
