Re: I am beyond help.
Amazon made it right. They shipped three new items. The fulfillment shipper this time simply shipped them in their original boxes individually which arrived without damage. To compensate me they insisted on filling the order to completion and refunded all the money for the three damaged / lost packa...

Re: I am beyond help.
I think the nuance of what made this beyond help got lost in the discussion. They told me to package up and return what they Did Not Deliver - the items missing Not the items With missing parts. Two of the six items came out of the packaging entirely and weren’t delivered at all. I was told to get a...

I am beyond help.
Obviously I am beyond help. At least from directives given by UPS customer service. I ordered 6 items from Amazon - Tiger Brand JS-100 Jack Posts, each capable of lifting 18,000 pounds. I have to re-level and replace wooden post columns on my patio. UPS arrived yesterday with a package failing to fu...

Sad how bad some machines were treated
I know that so often I find Lazarus candidates being sold after years of neglect. It’s like they purposely find a leaky spot for their ancestors prize possession and tell it Rust in Peace.
I try as often as I can to bring them back. Really solid machines with some ALC. Aggressive Loving Care.

Re: Points to ponder
JPG,
They won’t like mine. Round head stove bolts through 2x4 present in door and wall, with fender washers and a tac-weld on nut inside, and a tax-weld to the bottom of hinge pin making pin rotate with the section of hinge.
Not impossible to get into, but not easy to do.

Hanging doors
Odd solution I suppose... Out of shims and needing to ensure hinge side of door jamb plumb. 1 3/4” solid core door in sound proofed wall. Cut an Oak board to back custom jamb. Hinge screws otherwise would have not been into anything but soft jamb material. Door jamb in wall was was not plumb. It bow...
