Re: Power Pro No power

Ok, the two smallest parts are in the mail and should arrive at SS next week. I'm told that they can test these two components without the motor to determine which may be bad. If they check out then it's on to the motor. Considering it cost $40.00 just to send these small parts by slow boat, I can't...

Re: Power Pro No power

Here is a link to the troubleshooting tips for the NOVA lathe - https://teknatool.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/19000025395-faq-dvr-stop-start-fault-error-no-voltage-low-voltage It mentions connectors that have gone bad, might be worth a look. Re: Power Pro No power

Dusty, Did you get your name because it never rains where you live :) Now that I'm retired, $1,200 is a lot of money and I would not spend it on the PP now since the stock motor with the reversing modification works just fine. Food for thought for anybody thinking of upgrading considering the origin...

Re: Power Pro No power

Dusty, I just took my PowerPro apart to determine if there were any loose connections. My DVR quit a couple of years ago so I reinstalled my backup headstock with a modification to allow it to run forwards and backwards. I miss my PowerPro but find the original motor setup to work just fine. I would...

Re: My First Attempt at Bowl Making

I don't mind if anybody adds their projects to this thread, the more the better, it will keep it from rolling off the end of the earth. I will not be adding to it myself, I'm going to start a new thread documenting my wooden radio controlled Star45 sailboat project. Fred

Texas Shaped Jewery Boxes

I finished 5 Texas shaped boxes. I like the rounded front better than the flat fronts.
