Thanks all.. I really appreciate the responses.

You've convinced me..I shall put this on the list of project to purchase and install...

This will likely take much more time, since I'd rather build a project... lol

Thanks again!

sharpening jointer knives

Hi all Need your opinion. I bought a used ss jointer and it hasn't worked well since I got it. I expected the knives were set too high because it was cutting way too much in one pass even when not set to do so... The fence was also stuck in one position...this will become important in a moment. So, ...

Ditto... I think you got an extraordinary deal for $900...

Well worth what you paid... now enjoy, make some sawdust, and post pics of whatever you make!

Congrats

not for me...

I have a mark v upgraded to a 510... and am proud to say that I do not want or for see myself getting a power pro. The bottom line is that it will not do anything that I need to do that my 510 won't. For the expense, I would prefer to spend that money on an spt I think I might need...or high quality...

Mine on my desktop at work is the same as my avatar here...only much larger and in much higher resolution. It fills up my 24" monitor nicely;)

On my tablet and cell phone, I prefer the live wallpaper that is just dark red and black globs slowly moving around.

Thanks

Hi Bob

I had thought of it, but didn't know how the BB store would feel about me taking apart a kit and not buying it.

It also did not seem right to purchase it to only copy everything and return it...so I just thought I would inquire here to see if anyone could help.

Thanks

folding attic ladder

Hi all.. it should not be a surprise that I would rather build something than buy an assembly kit to obtain it. I am also not a big fan of plans in most cases..,I usually draw it out on paper and create my own plan. I have no experience (other than frustration) in using sketch up. I also tend to str...

Sayin Hey to all the new forum members, too. Jump right in. It's fun. AZ is a strange weather state. (Quirky in other ways, too.) It snowed and inch in Tucson at about 1800-2000 ft, and here on the mesa at about 6500, we got maybe a 1/4". Anybody know what "graupel" is. According to ...

Unfortunately, when using android on my tablet, which is how I participate on the forums 99.99% of the time the paperclip to insert an image has a red x over it.:(

Therefore, I use Flickr which is a free enline photo hosting place.

Its generally very easy to use.

Thanks

Considering their used to be a shopsmith retail store in Milwaukee...actually was in Brookfield I think... it probably would have Bennett good for them to be there. I remember in the early 90's when shopsmith used to be at all of the home shows. I know, because I bought the demo mark v 500 that they...
