Re: Hi

I shortened up my greenie by about 14", I have the belt sander on 1 end disk on the other. I can still put my SS jointer on it and if I would find a steal on a BS, even though I have a 14" Delta with a riser block and a stand along SS BS, I like the variable speed feature when on a SS dri...

Re: 10ER for general tablesaw/bandsaw

I don't know my 10E from my 10ER but reading this thread, I think I just stumbled on a guy selling a 10E or 10ER with both A and B adapters. Kind of pricey though.... Here's a link to the ad http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/tls/5326896282.html And here's a photo from the ad showing what looks...

Re: 10ER for general tablesaw/bandsaw

In the Power-Mount Adapter Kit manual it says the A adapter is for the Jointer and the Sprayer, the B adapter is for the Jigsaw, Belt Sander and the Bandsaw. The B adapter is shown to be mounted in the lower position. pwrmnt1.pdf And this shows a better shot of the bandsaw mounted on the adapter. P...

Re: Hi

A question that might get answered here, I have seen the stand alone power stations on the website, but they are apparently not in production right now. Does anyone know if this is temporary, or are they not going to carry them anymore? I could see where one or two of them open up lots of efficient...

Re: 10ER for general tablesaw/bandsaw

I don't think there is an easy way to run a SS mount thickness planer on a 10ER. The thickness planer has indentations on the bottom to sit on and clamp to the MK V way tubes. The 10ER way tubes are closer together than MK V way tubes. Also the center line of the 10ER spindle is about 1/2" clo...

Re: 10ER for general tablesaw/bandsaw

I did find a nice 10er for $150 , basement kept and used frequently enough to keep any rust or problems at bay. It has a working speed changer on it. It also came with several miter gauges and some ripping hold downs as well as the disc sander disk. I ordered another carriage and saw table off ebay...

Re: ER Vintage Scroll Saw

Smoothness of cut. The jig saw blade "flops" during the up stroke causing kerf disturbance in the wood. The scroll saw stays "rigid" during the full up and down stroke. At least that is what I read .... :D A conventional jigsaw powers the blade down through the cut and uses a sp...
