Re: Mark 7 saw blade runout
I would be asking Shopsmith for directions. Let them decide what needs to be rrplaced so they can ship the appropriate replacement parts.

Re: Bandsaw Alignment recommendations
I find the need to perform "spindle alignment" arises much less frequently ever since a got the double tilt.
I wish I now had the opportunity to check all my spt that first time after doing the double tilt. I believe getting rid of the tilt lock made a big difference is alignments.

Re: Mark V Electrical Requirement
I can not site reference but I do not believe this is a change. I believe Shopsmith recommendation has always been a dedicated 15 amp minimum circuit. Several forum members rushed in to la...

Is it of interest: The OPs IP is "London, England". Doubtful that there will be any follow on discussion from the OP.

Re: ShopSmith Future Direction
Agreed! Shopsmith has much room for improvement in the "customer service" area. Especially with regard to pending orders and parts availability.

Re: ShopSmith Future Direction
I simply stated a fact. I was not calling anyone out. I just said that I would have to see the paper transactions to be convinced that Shopsmith charges prior to shipment. I have been buying from Shopsmith for about as long as anyone on this forum and I have never been charged prior to shipment.
