My bride of 43 years decided we no longer needed a 4WD SUV where it doesn't snow, sold it, and bought a Vette. Now the ball string is hooked to the top of the garage door...

After retiring and doing the travel trailer thing we found that if we wanted to stay married we had to something different. So we started to look for a house where it don't snow in the winter. Inadvertent GFI or GFCI testing

Do not try this at home leave it to the experts!!! While cutting on the jigsaw with the sanding disk attached I tested the GFI/GFCI and circuit breaker by sanding through the lamp cord. I would not recommend this method of testing it leaves black marks on the sanding disk.:eek: [ATTACH]15453[/ATTACH]

After a bit of trial & error and adjusting the table parallel to the cutter it worked fine.

Biscuit jointer miter alignment problem

The Grandmother clock is my current project. [ATTACH]15388[/ATTACH] I want to join the trim pieces using the SS Biscuit Jointer. [ATTACH]15389[/ATTACH] But this is the result of a test on a scrap piece of wood. [ATTACH]15390[/ATTACH] The problem appearers to me to be excessive slop in the guide rods...

Looking good there. Ya gonna seal the seams between the garage door panels? I do not think so unless there is excessive air infiltration. But I can see daylight at the edge of the door. At our local big box store they sell pipe wrap for $1.99 for a 6ft length. I am thinking I could split one into 1...
