I believe the velcro sanding disks last as long as the adhesive backed. Just DO NOT use the velcro system for working on metal (even sharpening). The heat destroys the velcro. TRUST ME. Do we really need to see this Twice? :D The velcro is also Not dimensionally 'firm' enough either for 'grinding'....
