Re: Preventing cat scratching new mission style recliners

Be prepared to be rewrapping the carpet on the post. I don't have mini tigers like you, but my old lazy siamese has cut his way through
the carpet layers multiple times on the scratcher he uses.

I would guess there are some stronger choices in fibers to resist them...but i dont know them.

Re: Scraps project - suggestions

Alright-now I'm done with this project .. built a couple of lamps from the scraps of the scraps that were left !

Somehow after all this scrap reduction, my scrap boxes are just as full and I had to empty my sawdust bag heh.

Re: Scraps project - suggestions

Heres where I am now. I have enough material left to make a few small lamps I think.

The legs arent attached yet-if they look a bit off :) Just wanted to make sure the colors went ok with the corner (walnut pieces)

Re: New Shopsmith Mark 4

"Yeah, I think Shopsmith must be reading the forums and got tired of seeing comments saying that there isn't a Mark 4 so they had to go and make one. Customers must have run out of old machines on the used market to make into Shorty's..." Ya know-I always found it odd that our current topi...
