Re: Dec 2nd in IL, nice day for projects

Spotted a wren the other day so it is time to put the wren houses out. I did modify the design and added two uprights inside to make the nest box smaller. Didn't have my camera with me so you will just have to trust me on this. wren house 2.jpg I also put up the old favorite one that they seem to lo...

Re: WINDOWS 11 QUESTIONS

It seems every time I post anything about windows I see a lot of hate for it........ so I will no longer answer windows questions after this one.

It is drag and drop. Find the directory you want then drag it to the desktop, it defaults to move so use the Ctrl key to do a copy.

Sleeing baby racoon

Another walk and another find. This time I came across a baby racoon resting in a hollow tree. I came upon it and took a quick shot with my iphone then backed off so as not to scare it too much and shot the rest with a longer zoom. babyracoon.jpg IMG_1305sa.jpg IMG_1306sa.jpg IMG_1312sa.jpg Yea it w...

Can you ID this bird?

A fun walk down where the beaver dams use to be. My first walk there this spring. One thing I saw was this bird and I don't believe I have ever seen one before. I don't think it is native here but more then likely on its way to some place else. IMG_1318sa.jpg I'm guessing it is the male but I could ...

Re: WINDOWS 11 QUESTIONS

I'm guess you are talking about OneDrive? If so it is an app and thus can be removed. Go to settings, Apps then installed Apps, go down to Microsoft OneDrive and look for the three dots on the right of the screen. When you click the three dots you can then click Uninstall.

Re: Cool technique - Fractal Burning

I would not use any remote for this. If it were to come on when you are say attaching the leads this would not be good. I use the tried and true unplugging the cord from an extension. There is not a more safe way to work then having the AC cord unplugged. I may upgrade my system with a voltage contr...
