We're moving. After 25 years, we're headed south. To a place in the desert outside of Marana, AZ. About 30 miles north of Tucson. Found a nice place with a 30x40 shop on an acre+. All tools and, my precious walnut and mesquite are now in storage in Tucson. Our furniture will be moved to storage 9/29...

I keep four blades mounted on their arbor adapters. To change blades the adapter goes in a metal working vice and, I use a 12" Crescent. I find the bench vice too awkward to use for this. Changing blades while mounted to the spindle, for me , is too cumbersome. YMMV, though.

I'm sure we've all tried it at least once. I have. Just once. Now, it's done on the table/bench with my shop made track saw.

Salt works as well as sand.

Thanks John. Yes, we've considered HUGHSNET. Folks around here who have tried it say it's terribly unreliable. Might be our location.
