Edit: Forgot to ask if Renaissance Wax is suitable for these machines? I used tape to layout a pcb, covered the copper clad with photo resist, cured it, exposed, developed, etched and drill. Only after all of that did i solder. Who cares, it almost 4 decades ago. And 15 years ago you were yelling at him to get off you lawn. Why should a 25 year old know what soldering is? Plumbing has been plastic all his life and home DIY electronics went out with Heathkit TVs.

The instructions are clear, use hot water from the tap. Do not bake at 250*, do not boil at 211*, do not microwave them, use hot water from the tap.

That bandsaw came with rubber bushing for the blade guides. I'd replace those right away.
