It didn’t sell last year when they asked $1900 for it - strange approach to pricing for sure…

Never did and still do not understand what that thing did or how it is supposed to perform useful function(s).

Curious what and with what you would have checked the run/start windings and what values you expected to observe?

A proper sized roll pin would be available from a local hardware store. If only SS would provide standard hardware descriptions like they did a half century ago.

If you have replaced them with newer carbide tipped blades, a wall decoration function comes to mind.

Center dial indicators??? If you have a SS wobble blade, send it to a museum.

Pie wedges? No. But pie wedged spaces in between.

That is where "stuff" will go.

BTW the idler shaft getting hot is "typical". Attaching a hub helps dissipate heat.
