I sent him the pics of the part but I think he will have to have it in his hands to really see if he can do anything with it. Time will tell.

Tomorrow is headstock teardown day I have to see what lurks under the steel skin to see how much needs to be done with my new toy. I certainly hope it is not getting so hot as to suggest ceramic bearings! Be careful of/with the plastic speed control cam(they are 'irreplaceable'/or at least very difficult to replace)! Welcome!!!!!!! BTW It would be appropriate to have started a new thread, and Where ya at? You can edit yer prof...
