Will this lower guard fit this shopsmith, or do I have to go with an era correct one ? It's a 1960's Smith.

One, found at the curb sporting a "Free Machine" sign this last weekend. Looks to be what's called a greenie here, maybe 1960/61 from the serial #. Needs a Gilmer belt and blade guard, I'll get to that soon as funds allow.

I'm enjoying reading the forum in the meantime.

Lucky guess, seemed to be the only other possibility if everything was measuring correct and the other side was square.

I know, new guy here, but I was just reading and thought I'd throw one out there. Top and bottom measure same. Left box is square on both sides, right box is square on the left not on right. Are you sure the right side outer board isn't bowed ? Does the square touch in the corner when sat flat at bo...
