Mickyd, Prepping was done right and painting was done right. What happened to me was I needed to use about 4 rattle cans. I would shake up the rattle can for 5 minutes to get everything mixed up. We have a machine at work that does a great job at this. From can to can the texture would end up differ...

DONT soak the aluminum for 3 days. You will hate yourself for doing that. You can do this for the legs, motor pan, backside. The paint on the aluminum will come off with a brass brush and simple green on it for 5 to 10 minutes. Dont ask me why it works so much quicker on the aluminum than the steel....

Sandblasting, by far the easiest and quickest but if you don't have access to a good one then it wont work out for you. Don't waste time or money on Harbor Freight hand held blasters. Another way that worked ...

joedw00, In the picture you are seeing the area that is not under vacuum. You take the rubber seal and make the area as large or small as you need it. V-Clamp is the lazy mans way of getting a vacuum table. The V-Clamp requires a constant air source to be able to hold a vacuum. If you go with the Jo...

Ed,

If you take normal dimension of today I would have to say your table is somewhere around 36"x36x36". That is going by the tile carpet (8x8) on the floor and the (2x6) on the wall. You should be able to figure the rest out on what your own comfort or need.

You could also try and bed the legs of the machine inwards to try and hold it tighter together. Mine had both sheared and missing roll pins along with the s...
