Yes, I believe you are correct. Duh, I didn't even consider that. I've never setup any SPT on that side, never crossed my mind. Embarrassing.

I'se confused.I thought the versamatic was reversible(drives/removes screws). It's a bit difficult to explain how it works. I dont fully understand it. Just FYI, there is another model type, no. 4600 that I think would work on the Mark V without the need to run the Shopsmith motor in reverse.
