Anyone ever use a wood hardener on soft or punky wood? I saw Bondo and Verathane brands on the shelf this weekend and made me wonder.

Dont find I use my maxi clamps often, but they solved this set up with ease. The 6 inch faceplate is still attached to the underside, thus the need to elevate.
