I am the proud owner of?
Congratulations new proud owner. I also want to congratulate for your solution. I know what you mean about that super dried peanut butter. Others may have used heat before but I don't recall ever hearing about that method. One suggestion. The next time you lubricate the speed control gears (often re...

TV or Radio while working with power equipment
Thank you, charlese. You have pointed out the errors in my thinking. There certainly is no difference between listening to a radio in my workshop and having a television in there. One is no more or less a distraction than the other. I have now seen the light and have relocated the radio from the sho...

Helping SS: Sawdust Sessions on DVD
a1gutterman, are you making this as a counter proposal to what has already been indicated to be the plan - or - are you maybe not aware that there is a plan. Shopsmith's intention was to air a new Sawdust Session approximately every other week (on a Saturday). Those who registered (as we do now) wou...

Traveling Academy
Thank you so much; rick and Shopsmith and all the guys in the class. This was a famulous week in the TA Classroom. Wish I could do this every week. Next best thing - I'm going to learn to ride the bevel without thinking about it. If I can do that, it'll be a great accomplishment for me.:) Thanks aga...

TV in the Workshop
is in my opinion a serious, potential safety hazard. Anything that could create a momentary distraction is a hazard. I try not to deliberately bring those things into my shop. I play country music on a radio in my work shop and sometimes I even find myself distracted by the radio programs. When I do...

Traveling Academy in Tucson
I just got home after another fantastis day at the Traveling Academy. Today we had only four in attendance. It is almost like going to a provate class. With that student/teacher ratio there is an unbelieveable amount of time to ask questions and get detailed explanations. If one needs a detailed exp...

warningintruder,
Don't bank on that without checking with Shopsmith. The information regarding the TA is a bit sketchy, to say the least.
Check directly with customer service. Pay close attention to your email. Make certain you are registered with Shopsmith to receive email notices.

Traveling Academy
If the Traveling Academy was to be in your home town next month - would you know that? If you were someone who has a Shopsmith and is a reasonably active user but you were NOT a member of this (or any) forum - Would you know when the Traveling Academy was going to be in your area? The Traveling Acad...

[quote="charlese"]Sounds to me , you are doing all the right things. Two additional things you can try in order to get more sawdust into your 3300] How big can my shop be if I have a DC3300 with a "small" hood? Does a bigger hood really mean that my DC3300 will do a better job or...
